Mike's Reel Repair Metal Ported ABU Dual Bearing idler gear 5152
2 ball bearing installed aluminum 5152 cog wheel for ABU. It replaces 5152 cogs. Matches with 19373 white spool gear for UltraCast spools of 4500C-6600C. Doesn't fit to the reel with 23404 cog, or 4600UC, 5600UC and 6600UC with 23293 cog. If your reel has 23404 cog, please replace 23403 spool cog by 19373 spool cog and this metal gear matches. This is the replacement gear set for Shimano 07Metanium MG, 07Core100/101MG, 08Metanium MGDC, 08Chronarch 100D/101D reels. 8.0:1 super high ratio. Comes with drive gear, pinion, and a carbon washer. Drive gear is made of brass and it will last much longer than stock duralumin drive gears. Please replace the washer just under the drive gear to the thin carbon washer included to the kit, to lower the gear height.

This is the brass gear kit for 13Metanium, 15Metanium DC and 16Metanium MGL reels. Gears are micro-module brass gears from Shimano. Stock main gears of these models are made of duralumin, which is not as durable as brass. You may change gear ratio to any of 6.2, 7.4 and 8.5. Comes with drive gear, pinion gear and a carbon drag washer. Drive gears and washers are from Shimano 19 Scorpion MGL. Pinion is that of Shimano 16 Metanium.
