Daiwa Spool Holder for repair SV spool
This is the replacement spool holder on Daiwa SV spools, in white. It is a cam at the rotor base, to push out roter when it is twisted by magnetic force. Its older version in black tend to get stuck with rotor, or to break in time. This white one is reinforced parts to replace the black spool holder. The C clip holding rotor may be removed by 2 flat head scerw drivers. You'll surely need a tweezers to set it back, to hold a washer in position and to set the C clip in the groove. C clip and a washer are pushed by a spring, and they jump out. Please take care.

This spool extends casting distance by reducing brake force at the later half in casting. Fits to Daiwa 1000, 1012, 1025 and 1016 reels, T3(all models) and etc. Flat bottom, ultra light-weight 11g spool to improve casting performance especially for ultra light weight rigs 3g-7g 1/8-1/4oz. G1 grade duralumin. In SV Boost brake, rotor will pop out far only at the beginning of casting to prevent backlash, and then it retracts to the middle to reduce brake to add casting distance. The second half spring is 4 times stronger than first half to do the trick. Casts great for heavier than 3g 1/8oz. 0.330mm(US12lb)-80m(90yds)

This spool extends casting distance by reducing brake force at the later half in casting. Fits to Daiwa 1000, 1012, 1025 and 1016 reels, T3(all models) and etc. Flat bottom, light-weight 15g spool to improve casting performance especially for relatively heavy rigs of 10g-28g 3/8-1oz. G1 grade duralumin. In MAGFORCE-Z Boost brake, rotor will pop out far only at the beginning of casting to prevent backlash, and then it retracts to the middle to reduce brake to add casting distance. The second half spring is 4 times stronger than the first half to do the trick. Compared to SV Boost spools, this Magforce-Z Boost spools have more weight, and it is more suitable for heavier rigs.
