Daiwa Alphas SV is to cover light weight, from 3.5g-20g mainly. This small body reel is great for finesse tactics, but it is not the finesse only reel. Its low sitting body is easy in flip and pitching as well. The SV spool and Air brake system offer quite stable casting performance.
Two key features make Alphas SV great reel. SV ultra light spool accelerate fast with ultra light rigs like 1/8oz, 3.5g and you may cast long. The small palming body leaves little stress to your wrist.

This is a real bargain for its ultra casting performance for light weight. Its casting ability is similar to that of Daiwa upper grade Zillion SV 1016. You may cast from 3.5g 1/8oz without any effort.
