Tuning handles for Daiwa and ABU bait casting reels
Handles on this page accept 8mm main shaft, which is employed on Daiwa and ABU bait casters.Shimano Conquest, TE and TE-GT in 300/301, 400/ 401 have 8mm shaft, and handles on this page fit. Please purchase M8 hooded nut. Shimano stock nut is 11mm hex size and won't fit with the retainers coming with handles.
*1 For Daiwa with 12mm handle screw models, please choose SCR model or purchase either of DS 10mm screw for ZPI handles, or Handle Screw 10mm for other handles. 12mm screws are on: Steez EX100XS/HS, Ryoga JDM, Daiwa-Z JDM, Zillion J Dream, Zillion PESP and etc. Handle is fastened by handle screws with 12mm heads, which do not fit to 10mm retainers of tuning handles.

How to change knobs, knob compatibility

Avail Retainer 12.5 for ABU 4000-6000
Handle retainer made of aluminum. For most Ambassadeur 4000-6000 size after 1980, with distance between the center of retainer screw and the center of main shaft at 12.5mm. Some old 60's ABU has 10mm retainers.
