Avail Magnet brake MB-ALD15K
This is the magnet brake system working with Avail ALD1532RI tuning spools for Shimano 15Aldebaran 50/51. You may adjust the brake strength by the dial on the Aldebaran. Mike's Reel Repair Metal Ported ABU Dual Bearing idler gear 5152
2 ball bearing installed aluminum 5152 cog wheel for ABU. It replaces 5152 cogs. Matches with 19373 white spool gear for UltraCast spools of 4500C-6600C. Doesn't fit to the reel with 23404 cog, or 4600UC, 5600UC and 6600UC with 23293 cog. If your reel has 23404 cog, please replace 23403 spool cog by 19373 spool cog and this metal gear matches. Mike's Reel Repair ABU Dual Bearing Spool Gear (23403)
2 ball bearing installed spool gear for ABU Ambassadeur Ultra Cast 4000-6600C. Original Abu spool gear drags on the axle shaft by design and slows down a cast. We alleviated that friction by supporting it with a pair of Abec 7 bearings and bored out the surface that used to run against the axle! Now the gear floats on the shaft and allows the spool to run even more freely. This gear shoud be used with 23404 idler gear and 23404 compatible idler gears.

We have successfully added 2 ceramic ball bearings to an Ambassadeur idler gear. Custom machined in house, we have made these idler gears to fit 2 ABEC 7 bearings (supplied), which effectively increases idler speed giving you a longer, smoother cast. Idler will fit a multitude of reels from 4000 up to 6600 size. This includes most all classic style round Ambassadeurs. Original gear part number is 23404.
