Shimano Scorpion DC MD is a versatile, tough bait casting reel with advanced DC system to cast easy for long. It has sturdy aluminum alloy frame to be used in rough environments. Modified i-DC5 brake system is quite easy to set finely, and casts very smooth for long. The system senses the spool speeds by 1/3000 seconds to emit the best brake by computer. Now it has two dials on the outer of the palming cup, L/M/H and 1-5. And L1 is the lowest, and H5 is the strongest. It is much easier to understand and has wider range of brake settings than previous system. You may set your brake more finely with the new system, to cast the longest. Spool size is enlarged to the same as 23 Antares DC MD, 38mm dia x 21mm wide.
