Daiwa All New 2024 Certate SW (saltwater heavy duty) spinning is solid and powerful to catch large games. It is designed to stand for the sevire environment of off-shore fishing. It has aluminum alloy monocoque body to hold the large internal mechanicals square, and to protect them from water. Monocoque body frame doesn't need spaces for screws, and it may hold over-sized drive gears inside.
Compared to regular 24 Certate reels, SW models have larger bodies, larger and thicker drive gears, thicker main shafts, larger rotors to stand for heavy loads for the same size. MC Tough-digi-gear has now added surface treatment to maintain the smoothness for long time.
Mag-seal system is employed at pinion and line roller, to enlong the life of the reel. Mag-seal is the water repellant system using magnetic oil and ring magnets, achieving both ilght friction and high sealing performance. Rotor is made of Zaion, carbon reinforced engineering plastic to make handle turn light for vivid reeling actions.
