Armed with Intelligent Magforce brake system, IM Z offers totally new experiences in connecting to your fishing tackle. You may access to the casting data of IM Z through Daiwa Connecting-system, which will be downloaded on your smart phones. Throught the system, you may upgrade new brake profiles on your IM Z as well. Blue light turn on when it is set at Standard brake mode, and changes color when it is set at different brake modes. Yellow: PE braid mode, Purple: Long Cast mode, Light Green: Max brake mode. These additional brake models should be down loaded from Daiwa Connecting-system.
The base of the IM Z is relatively large bait caster in 200 size, with 38mm dia spool. It is equipped with 7kg drag. Hyper Drive Design system keeps the initial smooth gearing and friction-less performance for longer life.

Area is limited to Japan and you have to change your Apple ID country to Japan to download, or you have to create a new Apple ID, then change its registered area to Japan and you may download the app. User manual, Daiwa App, Connecting-system are operated only in Japanese language. Warning, Daiwa limits its 1 year warranty to reels used only in Japan.
