Its expensive magnesium alloy metal main frame weighs at only 1/3 of aluminum, holding mechanicals as solid as aluminum alloy body. SV (stress-free versatile) spool is machined from G1, air craft grade ESD to reduce weight ultimately, to be able to cast the best. Matched brake, Air Brake system offer superb control of spool from slow to high spool speeds, to cast long without backlash. With the SV spools, you may easily skip rigs under docks, which was only possible by super skilled tournament participants. This products should not be used with saltwater, because its body frame doesn't have salt-resistant coatings, which could add some weight to the ultimately light-weight weapon. Please wash out salt when you use it in blackish (salty) water after every fishing trip. Salt recidue might corrode body inside gear box.
