Daiwa All New 2020 Saltiga spinning (saltwater heavy duty) is solid and powerful to catch large games from oceans. It has aluminum alloy MQ (monocoque) body to hold the largest internal mechanicals square, and to protect them from water. Monocoque body frame doesn't need spaces for screws, and it may hold over-sized drive gears inside.
The drive gears are made of G1 Extra Strong Duralumin, to offer twice the life of previous 2015 Saltiga. Tough-digi-gear has the least gearing noise, while maintain the smoothness for long time. Drag system is now 10 times more durable than that of 15Saltiga, to have 14 carbon washers and aluminum heat radiating drag knobs.
Mag-seal system is employed at pinion and line roller, to enlong the life of the reel. Mag-seal is the water repellant system using magnetic oil and ring magnets, achieving both light friction and high sealing performance. Rotor is made of aluminum to have twice the stiffness than 15Saltiga.
