The SS SV is a compact, light weight bait casting reel with superb casting performance with Air Brake system, the modified Magforce Z brake system.
The Daiwa SS SV offers ultimately comfort casting experiences. The Air Brake magnet brake system has pop-up brake rotor, which engages in regular casting to emit adequate brake force automatically. Which also do not much engage at pitching to add pitching distance. The G1 Duralumin Air spool, made of air craft grade extra strong duralumin, is very light to accelerate quite fast with light rigs, but also reduce speeds fast when applied brake.

Black accent for 5.3, gold for 6.3, red for 7.1, purple for 8.1 gear.

Jun's comments: This SS SV is a simple, light-weight bait casting reel for light lines like 8-12lb test. Its casting performance for light rigs like 5-10g is quite advanced because of SV spools. For heavier use, Zillion TW should be used.
