Mepps Black Fury spinners 2g, 3.5g, 4.5g

Availability: In stock

Mepps spinners have been productive for long time, and they are still catching well. Black Fury spinners have black blades with colored dots, imitating bugs. It spins with very strong vibration, much stronger than its rival Blue Fox Vibrax spinners, to catch better for trout in rivers. They spins well at relatively slow speeds, and this is the spinner to cast up-stream directions. You may cast them to very shallow waters, where you don't think fish habits, but Black Fury will surely hook fish from such waters. #0 2.5g (1/12oz), #1 3.5g (1/8oz), #2 4.5g (1/6oz), #3 7g (1/4oz)

Jun's comment: I have been using Mepps Aglia 3.5g, and have been satisfied with its performance in all small streams in Boulder Colorado, Wissahickon Philadelphia, Fresno and Sierra California, Tokachi and Siretoko in Hokkaido Japan. I change hooks to sharper #10 trebles like Vanfook DT-48F for better hooking.
