Shinji X9 is an update from YGK Oddport WXP1. This is the strongest braid in market. It has the most advanced material, and the most advanced braid construction to make the best. It has very tightly braided body to offer unmatched avrasion resistance, and its 8+1 line body construction has been bonded between outer WX8 and core all through the lines. Because of the unique construction, Shinji X9 has the best total strength considering the advanced abrasion resistance. It also has little cavity to swallow water in its braided body. Compared to its origin, Oddport WXP1 lines, it has slight less tensilte (pulling at lab) strength, but it has more actual strength in fishing.
The most advanced PE filament material, 60% stronger than ordinary Dyneema/Spectra is employed to this line. The strong line materials are stretched to very thin, ten times thinner fibers than ordinary braid line fibers. This is a reason the Shinji X9 has very smooth surface, and it has alsmost no memory. The fine fibers are very flex, and offer great durability than thicker fibers in the same weight.
YGK X9 braid construction is to insert super-high-tensile un-braided core filaments into the WX8 8 braid tube. The strongest core materials are now protected by abrasion resistant outer tube, it offers both tensile strength and abrasion resistance.
The X9 construction also brings another benefit to the line, eliminating twist. The body keeps real round, and it removes problems caused by pressed, flat line body. Lines get weak at knots, and twist is often the cause of the weakness. Flat body braids get twisted in fight, making self knots and breaks. X9 construction eliminate the twist very well and maintain the initial strength. WX braiding technology makes the line with the least stretch and tightest line body.
Made in Japan. Order cut lines will be cut by 100m up to 1200m for #1 to #5 and #12, 1800m for #6 to #9 and 1500m for #10. For example, you order 4pcs of #3 and you'll receive 400m straight single line. Line is spooled in 100m each on connected spool.
Colored in different colors by every 10m. Green Yellow marking at every 1m (1yd).
