All New 2025 Shimano SLX BFS is a finesse bait caster in reasonable price range, with super casting performance for light rigs. This new model has spool made of ESD Extra Strong Duralumin, which is lighter than that of previous model. The lighter spool acceralates faster and allows us to cast lighter rigs. It may cast from under 3.5g without fear of backlash, with the help of Shimano FTB magnet brake system.
