All New Steez SV TW 100 is the Daiwa high-end bait caster for tournament use. The reel has been developed under UltimateCasting Design which consists of Magforce brake system, 32mm SV Boost spool, New TWS line guide, and new Zero Adjust. New Steez has 32mm dia spools with SV Boost brake system for longer casting distance and accurate casting. Compared to 2016 Steez 34mm spools, New 32mm spool has removed inertia by 15%. New TWS line guide has 16% more area for lines to go through in casting, but is it narrower than previous model. Due to these two upgrades, 24 Steez has 4.9% more casting distance compared to previous Steez SV (2016) for 7g rigs. Doe to the advance of spool and brake, New Zero Adjust is real no Zero adjust. You should not touch it.
Hyper Drive Design system keeps the initial smooth gearing and friction-less performance for longer. It consists of Hyper Drive Digi Gears, Hyper Double Support, Hyper Armed Housing, and Hyper Tough Clutch. All of these help the reel to work more efficient and last long.
The SV Boost system is the tuned SV brake (Air Brake) system, and brake induct rotor will pop-out in two steps. Its brake profile to spool speed is steeper than regular SV system to add casting distance at latter half of casting. For the induct rotor, the 1st half distance will be pushed out by the same profiles as previous SV system, but the later half requires about 2 times of spool speed to pop-up. Therefore, induct rotor will be pushed out all way in the beginning of casting to prevent backlash, but soon it will come-back to reduce brake to add distance.
