This ABU CS Rocket model is specifically designed for heavy duty use. Its body construction is made of brass, not aluminum. ABU Sweden sometimes release reproduction models of its classic models, and these ABU CS Rocket reels are released only for Japan market in 2015.

This reel is the reproduction of classic 6500CS Rocket with instant anti-reverse system, originally released in around 2001, with a new color. Brass frame CS models have been quite popular for both freshwater and saltwater fishing, for improved durability than aluminum frame C3 C4. 6500CS Rocket reels are almost the legend for surf casting here in Japan. 2 point classic centrifugal brake is employed instead of 6 point system, because in surf casting disengaged brake blocks will be pushed out in casting at high speed. Therefore, Japan market asked ABU to make it back to 2 point old style. Please do not miss this beautiful and practical reels.
