The reels in this page are electric motor powered reels, working with 12V lead and 14.8V lithium batteries. For 12V batteries, deep cycle batteries often used for guide motors are recommended. Automobile 12V batteries are also good. Motor powered reels requite quite a lot of current like 10-20A max for Shimano 3000 at load. Please prepare reel batteries only for reels, or boat engine will not start when you consume battery.
