This is the magnet brake system working with Avail SCP7020, 7040R tuning spools for Shimano 16Scorpion 70/71. You may adjust the brake strength by the dial on the Scorpion. To install the magnet brake, please click the product name and check how to install it to the reel. It will not work with genuine spools, or BFS models. It is only for Avail tuning spools 7020, 7040.
Please disassemble the side plate, 3 screws.
Remove the dial by unscrewing center screw, T10 Hexlobe. This is star shaped hole. Please rotate the dial to the direction where the brass cone is pushed out the most.
Assemble MB-SCP16 to the brake holder. Two claws inside the MB-SCP16 should match with the 2 cuts on the holder. Un-cut gear on the outer of MB-SCP16 should come up on the photo.
Assemble dial, where 4 comes to the center of holder like photo, and you may adjust brake 1 to 6. Then re-assemble the side plate and you may use the mag brake by dial. Please reminded, moving range for the dial may be different from the working range of the mag brake, and please adjust brake the dial where it doesn't contact to spool, and where magnet is working effective.
