NEW Biomaster is now equipped with long casting, trouble free AR-C spool design, same as the high-end Stella. SR balanced rotor design offers non-wobble smooth cranking. It has every features that serious anglers want on a arsenal tackle. You will be surely satisfied with the trouble free operation. PG models are for offshore power games.
1000-C2000S, 2500S-C3000S, and 6000PG-8000PG share the body respectively, and larger model has deeper spool. "I" shaped knob on 1000-2500, C3000S. "T" shped knob on C3000, 4000, 4000S and C5000. Round power grip on PG models.

Jun's comment: most valued, high performing spinning reel from Shimano. Well engineered rotor and body, as well as gears offer smooth retrieving. I still use '95 Shimano Biomaster 2000 in 2012. It works fine with very smooth operation, and it is amazing.
